How to Search the Hebron Court Docket
Hebron has no portal of its own for court records. Traffic tickets, ordinance matters, misdemeanors, and preliminary felony cases all land in the statewide system. Start with the JUSTICE Trial Court Case Search, Nebraska's index for county and district courts. A Hebron case may sit in Thayer County Court. A city officer may still have written the ticket. Ask which court level and case type applies, not which city label the citation carries.
JUSTICE works by party name. The public one-time route has a 24-hour entry lag. It caps results at 30. It also costs $17 even if nothing comes back. Results stay viewable for three calendar days. Save the case number from any Hebron result. The Register of Actions lists events in order. A document image shows up only when it is public and available.
- Read the Hebron citation for a court name, number, and any city instruction.
- Search JUSTICE by the party name, rather than a witness.
- For Hebron traffic, choose County Court and Thayer, then use TR when shown.
- Read the Register of Actions for a setting, order, or disposition.
- Call the County Court clerk for a missing or urgent Hebron date.
Hebron Citation Bureau Boundary
Hebron's Title 7 traffic code sets up a Bureau of Violations. That Bureau sits inside the municipal clerk's office. Certain non-moving citations may be deposited there. That payment path is administrative, though. It does not create a Hebron municipal court docket. It also cannot replace the Thayer County Court Register of Actions once a case is filed.
Read the citation wording before paying or assuming an appearance is waived. Some citations direct a municipal step. For a hearing date, judgment, or filed document, the county court route is the one that matters. A city payment process is not the full court history. It may not show what a court record displays.
Note: the citation itself controls the immediate payment or appearance choice. A Hebron administrative instruction depends on how the citation reads.
Hebron Municipal Court Search Route
Hebron offers no separate municipal court docket portal. Nebraska County Court handles city and village ordinances and traffic matters. So a Hebron ordinance case ordinarily shows up in Thayer County Court. It will not sit under a city court heading. A missing city result should send you to a County Court search. Do not conclude that no court case exists.
Hebron counted 1,458 residents in the 2020 Census and serves as the county seat. That is why the courthouse and court clerk offices sit in Hebron. They are Thayer County judicial offices, though, not a separate city tribunal. For the court-level connection, the County Court page is the right source.
Hebron City Clerk
Jana Tietjen
216 Lincoln Avenue / P.O. Box 29
Hebron, NE 68370
402-768-6322
Use this Hebron office for municipal records or ordinance questions, not the court register.
Hebron County Court Custodian
Mandy Klipp, Clerk Magistrate and Clerk of the County Court, holds the local Hebron County Court records. Her office sits in Room 203, Thayer County Courthouse. The address is 225 N. 4th Street, Hebron, NE 68370. The published phone is 402-768-6325 ext. 4. The published email is mandy.klipp@nejudicial.gov. Without a case number, give the full party name. Add a case year or case type.
Some cases need the separate District Court clerk instead. Examples include a felony trial, domestic relations, or a district-level civil matter. Case numbers point the way: C32 marks Thayer County Court and D32 marks Thayer District Court. The 32 is Thayer's statewide county number. A clerk can confirm the right court before you request copies.
The current Thayer County Court source publishes the courthouse contact details shown on that official page. Hebron's county-seat role explains the building's location, not who owns the docket.

When a public docket search comes up empty or you need an official copy, call the Hebron courthouse. That clerk contact is the reliable confirmation channel.
Hebron Court Dates and Settings
For a future Hebron setting, turn to the Multi-Court Case Calendar. Select County Court and choose Thayer. Then search by a current or future date or by a last name of at least two characters. Past dates do not return results. A blank screen does not prove there is no Hebron court date. Check the Register of Actions and call the clerk when the appearance matters.
Remember that a setting is an event, not a ruling. The calendar may display case number, caption, date, time, court, location, and setting type where supplied. Read a continuance, reset, order, or disposition as its own row or document. Do not guess from one date.
| Case number | Look for C32 and TR in a Hebron traffic result. |
|---|---|
| Date and time | The scheduled court event, subject to clerk confirmation. |
| Court | County Court or District Court, which controls the clerk route. |
| Setting type | A hearing, arraignment, trial, compliance event, or other listed event. |
| Status | Use a status or disposition only if the official record displays it. |
Hebron Courthouse Record Context
Hebron's civic story and its courthouse make for interesting reading. Neither one creates a city court docket, though. The Hebron courthouse and history page covers the building's background and local history. Treat it as community context. It is not evidence of a separate Hebron court calendar or a verified courthouse timeline for Thayer County court records.

Hebron's historical materials celebrate a civic landmark. Case summaries and calendars come from the statewide court system instead. Want to inspect a Hebron court record in person? The court-record policy provides free public terminals and kiosks at courthouses and law libraries. Call ahead before making a long trip to Hebron. The courts do not publish terminal hours or copying procedures.
Hebron Traffic Tickets
A Hebron traffic ticket might start with a city officer or a city code. Yet the record usually lands in Thayer County Court. Search JUSTICE by party name. When the case number identifies traffic, it carries the prefix TR. The County Court Register of Actions can show citation activity, settings, orders, and financial information. It can also show a disposition where public. It never replaces the instructions printed on the citation itself.
Nebraska ePayments can check an eligible case. Supply court type, county, case type, two-digit year, and identifier. That tool is not the full docket. If the citation says waiver not allowed, do not pay online before appearing. Online payments carry a minimum additional charge of $1.25. Bond payments cannot be made online.
| Hebron question | Best route |
|---|---|
| City ordinance text | Hebron City Clerk |
| Filed traffic case | Thayer County Court and JUSTICE |
| Future setting | Calendar, then clerk confirmation |
| Payment eligibility | Nebraska ePayments if the citation permits it |
Hebron Register of Actions Fields
After a Hebron case turns up, read its Register of Actions in date order. A case summary may list the number and parties. It may also show filing date, court level, case type, status, financial information, and hearing data. Public rows can record filings, notices, hearings, orders, judgments, payments, and dispositions. Remember that an entry only proves the system logged an event. It does not stand in for the underlying public order.
Images are often linked when public and available. Many are for material filed or uploaded after April 16, 2008. A missing image may reflect date, system, or access limits. The Hebron City Clerk source documents the municipal office. That office does not hold the court register.

The city clerk handles questions about Hebron municipal records. A filed Hebron court record, by contrast, stays with the clerk at the court level.
- Register of Actions
- The chronological case-event list, commonly called a docket.
- Case summary
- Case-level information the statewide service may display.
- Setting
- A scheduled court event, not necessarily a trial or disposition.
Where Hebron Cases End Up
Hebron has no municipal court. Cases never shift from a city bench into a county layer. An ordinance or traffic matter often begins in the city. It is ordinarily filed in Thayer County Court. County Court also takes misdemeanors and preliminary felony proceedings. A felony trial may sit in Thayer District Court. A major civil matter or a domestic-relations file may sit there too. That court keeps its own clerk and Register of Actions.
Docket flow: Hebron citation or ordinance question → Thayer County Court / JUSTICE → Thayer District Court only when filed or proceeding at that level.
That routing keeps a Hebron search pointed at the clerk who actually holds the record. For county-wide court-level routing, see the Thayer County court docket overview.
Public Access to Hebron Court Records
Nebraska court rules and the court custodian govern Hebron public court information. No city-docket claim overrides them. Article 8 allows electronic access through an authorized provider or a public terminal. It also recognizes public access to a party index, case summary, Register of Actions, available images, and calendars. Summary judgment or order information is included too. Even so, it does not make every document or every case visible.
Requesting a Hebron-related copy works best with the number, the court level, and the exact record or date range. Know whether you need a plain or certified copy. County Court lists photocopies at $0.25 per page and a certificate and seal at $1. Confirm current charges and delivery with the clerk. Hebron municipal records belong with the city office, not the court file.
Public-record boundary:
Nebraska Court Records Rules, Article 8 allows access to public information through authorized channels while keeping legal limits in place.
Article 8 §1-808 excludes sealed, adoption, protected criminal-history, and other confidential material from ordinary access.
Nebraska Public Records Act §84-712 provides a general written-request framework, including an ordinary four-business-day response or estimate.
Note: A public Hebron case result can be incomplete. Verify any setting, copy, or restriction with the clerk who holds the record.
Hebron Copy Request Details
Keep a Hebron court-copy request narrow. Provide the case number, court level, complete party name, and case year or type. Add the exact document or Register of Actions entry and a date range. State whether you need a plain or certified copy. Ask how the Hebron request can be delivered. An email address is only a contact route. It is not a promise that the clerk can email every record.
Under the Court Records Search Policy, staff may search a specific record using a complete party name plus the case year or case type. With the Hebron case number in hand, the clerk can provide photocopies or certified copies. This applies where the record is public. The policy does not promise a certificate stating that no record exists. That gap is exactly why you should keep the Hebron number after a JUSTICE search.
Hebron Court Access Limits
Hebron access is public only as far as the court rules allow. That ceiling is real. Juvenile, sealed, adoption, protected criminal-history, and other confidential material may be absent from a Hebron search. So some records are simply off limits. A missing image is no reason to ask a city office or court clerk to bypass a restriction. A hidden entry is not either. Someone with lawful authority over a sealed matter can ask the court clerk about the applicable form and identification requirement.
This limit also keeps a Hebron docket search aimed at court information rather than a general profile of a person. The purpose is practical. Find an actual Hebron case. Confirm a court setting. Then understand a filing history, or request a specific public court document from its custodian.
