Traffic Court Records in Thayer County
In Nebraska, county court hears traffic offenses. Even when a city or village officer wrote the ticket, Thayer County Court holds the traffic case record. A citation or code may send you to a local violation bureau for a qualifying administrative payment. That office is not the court's public Register of Actions. What the court record can show is the citation case, its filings, settings, payment entries, and disposition, as far as public access goes.
The official Nebraska traffic information explains the county-court path. City ordinances, traffic infractions, and traffic misdemeanors all travel it. Unless the citation itself points somewhere else, begin with Thayer County Court.
Thayer Traffic Court Custodian
Thayer County Court is where the traffic case file lives. Mandy Klipp's office sits in Room 203 of the Thayer County Courthouse. The address is 225 N. 4th Street, Hebron, NE 68370. Walk-in hours run weekdays from 7:30 to noon and 1:00 to 4:30. A docket may be missing. A court date may need confirming. You might have a copy question, or a citation that will not appear online. For any of these, call 402-768-6325 ext. 4.
The Thayer County Court directory is the official contact source for the court. When an online lookup stalls, the clerk counter helps. So does the free public terminal at the courthouse.
How to Look Up a Traffic Ticket
The JUSTICE Trial Court Case Search covers public traffic case information. You search by party name. The search costs $17 one time. Expect a possible 24-hour lag in new entries, up to 30 cases per result, and three days of access. A current or future court setting can also be checked through the statewide calendar. Keep in mind that the ePayments form is only an eligibility and payment lookup. It is not the full traffic Register of Actions.
- Read the citation for its court instruction, appearance date, waiver language, and any case identifier.
- Search JUSTICE by the named party and confirm the Thayer County Court result and traffic case type.
- Use the calendar for a current or future setting, then read the Register of Actions for related events.
- Use ePayments only with the County, case type, year, and identifier requested by its form.
- Call or visit County Court when the ticket is lost, newly issued, absent from a search, or unclear about appearance requirements.
Thayer Traffic Payment Fields
The official one-time ePayments lookup asks for the case components rather than a free-form register search. Select County Court, select Thayer, choose TR when the case is traffic, enter the two-digit case year, and enter the case-number identifier. County code 32 is the Thayer component in the wider case-number structure.
| ePayments field | Thayer traffic entry | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Court Type | County | Traffic normally routes to County Court |
| County | Thayer | Matches county number 32 |
| Case Type | TR | Traffic case family |
| Case Year and ID | Two-digit year and identifier | Checks the matching case or payment eligibility |
The official one-time ePayments form lays out the exact payment-lookup fields for a Thayer traffic case.

The form is handy for checking whether a transaction is eligible. Even so, the Thayer traffic docket remains a Register of Actions question for the clerk and the court record.
Finding Your Traffic Court Date
A citation may list an appearance date. Confirm the court date whenever a setting might have changed. Confirm it too when no date shows up in a search. The Multi-Court Case Calendar works with County Court and Thayer selected. It searches current and future dates or last names. One warning from the state form: no result does not necessarily mean no court date. The clerk is the final word locally.
| Traffic case pattern | C32-TR-YY-NNNNNNN is an explanatory pattern; form punctuation can vary. |
|---|---|
| Court | Thayer County Court for the court case behind a local traffic citation. |
| Date and time | The citation appearance date or a calendar setting, subject to live court confirmation. |
| Setting | A hearing or appearance event, not a statement that the case is resolved. |
| Register status | Use the result’s actual wording; do not infer a result from payment or an absent calendar row. |
Thayer Traffic Calendar Checks
Two tools, two jobs. The statewide calendar handles settings; JUSTICE is the public case-information and Register of Actions tool. A calendar search by date will not return past dates. For a prior setting, check the register or ask the Thayer clerk. If a hearing is urgent, do not lean on a blank result. Do not lean on an old copy of the page either. A calendar row can shift through court scheduling. A restricted matter or timing issue can also keep a public row from appearing at all.
Paying or Contesting a Ticket
The waiver box on the citation decides your path. Waiver-eligible tickets can be handled as the official instructions permit. Options include an eligible electronic payment, a signed citation with payment by mail, or payment in person. A citation marked "waiver not allowed" demands an appearance. It should never be prepaid online. Lost the ticket? County Court or the official waiver-and-plea route can sort it out.
| Eligible waiver path | Appearance or contest path |
|---|---|
| Use only if the citation permits waiver. | Use when the citation requires appearance or the person chooses to appear. |
| Follow the signed citation, payment, and timing instructions. | Bring the citation and seek the court’s instructions for the scheduled matter. |
| Payment eligibility can be checked in ePayments. | County Court, not an online payment screen, confirms the court response. |
Do not ignore a citation. Under Neb. Rev. Stat. §29-426, failure to appear or comply with a citation can be a misdemeanor punishable by up to $500, up to three months, or both. Contact Thayer County Court directly for an appearance or compliance question.
Thayer Traffic Waiver Choice
Signing the official waiver gives up substantial rights, all listed on the defendant copy. Some of them are an attorney, a reading of the complaint, and preparation time. Others include trial or jury, confrontation, witnesses, silence, and testimony. Proof beyond a reasonable doubt and appeal are on the list too. When waiver is used, the signed waiver and payment must arrive before the appearance date. Remember that the citation, not any list of example violations, is the controlling document. The Uniform Waiver System rule is the official source for the waiver methods available. It also covers the court's discretion over them.

A waiver is a case response with real legal effect. Anyone unsure of eligibility should contact the Thayer court before sending payment.
Court Traffic Record vs Driver Record
Two custodians, two files. The traffic case record, including the public court docket, citation case, setting, filings, and disposition, belongs to Thayer County Court and its clerk. The state licensing agency holds the driving record. Use a court search to find the court case and its date; it is not a request for the state licensing file.
| Record | Custodian | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Thayer traffic court record | County Court clerk | Find the citation case, Register of Actions, setting, court action, or public copy. |
| State licensing driving record | State licensing agency | A separate state-maintained file, requested through its own custodian. |
Thayer Traffic Record Boundaries
A Thayer County court record has limits. What the public sees may include a case summary, register events, a disposition, calendar entries, and public images when those exist. It will never amount to a full document set for every case. Remember too that a traffic court record is not the state licensing record. Under the Nebraska Court Records Rules, Article 8, electronic access stops where public-access law and court rules stop.
When an image is missing or a court entry reads unclearly, ask County Court for a public copy. A free kiosk or the clerk counter often beats trusting a web result as complete.
Fees and Copies
Three different charges get confused here. Traffic fines, ePayment charges, and copy fees are separate things. Every case or ticket paid online through ePayments carries a minimum $1.25 charge. Bond payments are never accepted online. Funds are applied right away. But they are held for seven days before disbursement, and eligibility to pay must come from the actual case. For a waiver amount tied to a specific citation, rely on the official schedule. An example fine stacked onto a generic total is not a safe substitute.
| Thayer traffic item | Amount or route | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| ePayments charge | Minimum $1.25 per case or ticket | Separate from court amount |
| County Court photocopy | $0.25 per page | Ask clerk about a specific request |
| Certificate and seal | $1 | For a County Court certified copy |
| Waiver amount | See the official schedule and citation | Offense and waiver status control |
The official traffic waiver fine schedule lists current citation-specific amounts and was revised in July 2026.

For a plain or certified copy, go through the clerk. A payment screen is not the official record.
Thayer Traffic Clerk Route
When a citation is missing, lost, or unclear, call County Court at 402-768-6325 ext. 4 or visit Room 203. Give the citation number or party name, date, and any available case details. The clerk can identify the correct court path, explain how to request a public copy, and confirm whether a live calendar check is needed.
The Court Records Search Policy supports a specific record request with a complete party name plus case year or type, or a case number. It does not promise a certificate that no record was found.
Thayer Traffic Image Check
Images are a bonus, not a guarantee. A traffic Register of Actions may link public document images when they exist. Older material or restricted information often stays offline, though. If you need the actual document rather than a register row, request a court copy.
The official traffic case instructions lay out the state's court-response choices for a citation.

Those instructions draw a clean line among a court case search, a payment action, and an official request to the record custodian.
Thayer Traffic Case Code
TR marks the traffic case type, paired with Thayer's county number 32. The full state pattern runs court letter, county number, case type, two-digit year, then identifier. Treat it as a way to verify form fields. No single punctuation style works on every screen.
The official Nebraska ePayments landing page splits Pay Ticket or Citation apart from Case Payment. That split matters after a court decision.

That split is one more reason to use JUSTICE and the clerk for the court docket. Turn to ePayments only once the eligible case route is clear.
Thayer Traffic Payment Limits
Only eligible Thayer County traffic cases can be paid online. Online bond payment is not permitted. Payments under $5,000 may be accepted online. Otherwise they must be split under the ePayments rules. An active-warrant notice means you should contact the court directly. An online lookup or payment does not by itself establish that anything about the case has changed.
Mail may be an option for a signed citation and payment. But only the official instructions allow it. Never mail cash. For a Thayer County traffic case, the citation's appearance requirement and its waiver status remain the facts that control what you must do.
